Peach State DE rolling in the offers

This 2011 defensive end out of Georgia has racked up an impressive list of offers so far, and he's keeping his options wide open heading into the spring visit circuit.

DE Sterling Bailey Profile

East Hall High School defensive end Sterling Bailey (6-4, 230) is keeping Clemson in consideration with several others right now. He already claims offers from Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, South Carolina, California and soon maybe Southern California.

"I don't really have any favorites right now," he said.

CUTigers recently caught up with Bailey to see what he's got planned for the upcoming months.

"I'm supposed to be going up to Clemson for junior day," he said. "I think I'll probably also go to Alabama, Florida and probably one more. I'm not sure where to yet."

During the fall, Bailey attended games at Clemson, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Georgia.

As he continues to evaluate schools, he'll be looking at a couple of different factors.

"I'll be looking at the atmosphere, the kind of education I'll be getting," Bailey said.

As a junior, he had 63 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.

"I didn't do as good as I wanted to," Bailey said.

Scout.com rates him as a three-star defensive end prospect. Bailey said schools are recruiting him to play defensive end, but he wouldn't be surprised if ends up playing outside linebacker at the next level.
