One of the top defensive prospects in the country is now campus for an official visit.

The No. 1 safety in the country for the class of 2010 is on campus at Clemson this weekend for an official visit, CUTigers.com has confirmed.

Keenan Allen, a one-time Clemson lean before committing to Alabama latelast year, has arrived with his brother, former Buffalo quarterback Zach Maynard.

Allen is rated five stars and considered the No. 1 player in the south by Scout.com.

He could play in the defensive backfield in Clemson should he sign with the Tigers but he also may get a shot on offense as a wide receiver as well.

Maynard has spent the last two seasons at Buffalo after completing a strong high school career at Grimsley High School in Greensboro.

A dual-threat quarterback, Maynard passed for 1,635 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushed for 1,404 yards and 14 scores during his senior season.
