CUTigers caught up with 2011 Mainland High School (Daytona Beach, Fla.) offensive guard Garrett Clark about the greyshirt he was offered at the Seminoles' Junior Day.
"I'm definitely going to wait. It's good to have. But I'm going to wait and see what else I get. They already have two inside guys committed," Clark said. "They're looking for three or four tackles, because that's what they're low on. Unless something opens up, they only have 16 scholarships and eight guys committed.
"Unless somebody drops out and opens another one up, I'd be the next guy they offered."
Clark hasn't received any committable scholarship offers yet, though he's working hard towards his first.
"It's good to have it. I'm just going to keep working hard, knowing I have that," he said. "Hopefully I'll get some more coming up soon."
In late March, Clark could hit Georgia and maybe Georgia Tech too. On April 1, he'll be heading to Clemson for another unofficial visit.
