A former Louisville commit is looking to pick out a weekend to take an official visit to Clemson. The Scout.com three-star ranks as the No. 32 ranked small forward prospect for the class of 2010.

CUTigers caught up with Lee High School (Huntsville, Ala.) shooting guard Josh Langford, who received an offer from the Tigers in early January. Since then, he's kept in regular touch with coach Oliver Purnell and staff.

"Coach Purnell has came down like three times to see me…the last time was in the early part of February," Langford said.

Along with Clemson, he's considering West Virginia, Marquette, Alabama, Tulane and Georgia. Langford hasn't gone on any official visits, but will take his first one this weekend to Alabama.

Clemson should be a destination too.

"I'm going to take (an official visit) to Clemson. I don't know when yet, but I know I'm taking one," Langford said.

Purnell's fast-paced, up-tempo style is very attractive.

"They play fast. That's the way I like to play—fast, get up and down the court. That's how they do. They get it and go," Langford said.

During his senior season at Lee High School, he scored 25 points and had 13 rebounds game, leading the Generals to the Alabama 5-A state title.

Langford plans to have a decision in the next three to four weeks.
