DE Stephon Tuitt Profile

This spring, Monroe High School defensive end Stephon Tuitt has been to Junior Days at Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Georgia Tech. CUTigers recently caught up with the Scout.com three -star for the latest on his recruitment.

"Each school has great coaches. The facilities aren't that much different. Each school, all of the school there is a good school," he said.

He's been offered by the four schools he's recently visited and also claims offers from Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia, Miami and Vanderbilt. Tuitt said he has no favorites at this point.

The scholarship offer from Auburn came in on Tuesday, prompting a Junior Day visit later this month.

"I'm looking at all of the schools and trying to see which is best for me," he said.

Tuitt has several areas that he's going to be looking at while considering his suitors.

"Academic programs, great environment, great coaches in the heart—tough coaches, but great coaches at the same time and great players," he said.

Clemson, among others will host Tuitt during spring practice.

"I want to see how they practice, how the team is and everything. I'm planning to go to Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn and Florida," he said.

The plan is to try to have a decision ready before he begins his senior season.

"If I don't have a decision by that time, I'm going to take my time and have a decision made on Signing Day," Tuitt said.
