Tigers to face Missouri

It was announced moments ago Clemson will play Missouri (22-10, 10-6) on Friday in the first round in Buffalo, N.Y.

Clemson, which was one of six ACC teams selected for the NCAA Tournament, is the No. 7 seed in the East Region while Missouri is the No. 10 seed.

Missouri, like Clemson, lost in the first round of its conference tournament (Big 12). The Tigers from the Show Me State lost to Nebraska 75-60.

Missouri is led in scoring by sophomore guard Kim English at 13.9 points per game.

This marks the third consecutive year Clemson has secured an NCAA Tournament berth.
