Andre Young's Post-Season Diary

BUFFALO, N.Y. - In the fifth edition of Andre Young's diary, he talks about Clemson's NCAA Tournament first round game against Missouri.

Yesterday, we left at 9:30 in the morning, drove to Greenville, got on a plane and flew up here. We had some down time, about an hour, just sat around the hotel. We had practice and then had dinner. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory—that was pretty nice. Then, we just came back to the hotel and watched some film and went to sleep for the night. Today, we woke up about 9:30, had breakfast, went out had practice and went to the arena.

The experience has been pretty good. I'm happy to be here. Not many people get a chance to play in the NCAA Tournament. There's not a whole bunch to do here in Buffalo, but we're just hanging out at the hotel. We realize this is a business trip. We want to come up here and do well.

There wasn't a whole bunch to do last year in Kansas City, either. There was more stuff than here. We're just really focused on doing well in this tournament. We don't want it to be how it was last year when we lost in the first round. Right now, we're just real focused. We're a determined team.

We're just hanging out at the hotel, for the most part tonight. I haven't gotten a chance to watch any other games today. Villanova's playing right now, but we haven't had much time. We woke up this morning and had breakfast and went straight to practice.

I'll probably watch some time. We're going to have a little bit of down time. The NCAA games are always fun to watch. Everybody just wants to win real bad for their team. It's fun to watch everybody play their hardest.

I like our playing time tomorrow. I don't just want to sit around all day. It's always going to be in the front of your mind. I'm just glad we get to go ahead and have that chance to get it out of the way.

We just want to come out here and play well and sit down after a win and watch other teams fight for it.
