OLB Marcus Bullard Profile
CUTigers recently caught up with Spring Valley outside linebacker Marcus Bullard, who's been receiving a lot of interest from Clemson and Vanderbilt these days.
He's been told by the Clemson staff that an offer from the Tigers could be in later this spring.
To date, Wake Forest is the offer to his name. Though he hopes for more, Bullard remains focused on his efforts off the field.
"People tell me to keep focused on my grades. Those are going to get me into the college that I want to go to," Bullard said. "Just keep me mind on my grades and everything else is going to fall into place. I wouldn't be here right now if I wasn't good at football. I just need to keep taking care of my classroom stuff."
During the spring recruiting period, he's already made two visits.
"I went to Wake Forest's Junior Day and Clemson's Junior Day," Bullard said. "I was going to go to Vanderbilt's but I couldn't get a ride all the way to Tennessee."
He'll be in Tigertown again on April 10 for the spring game.
"I'm going to go to that, to a Wake Forest spring practice and a Vanderbilt spring practice," Bullard said.
A decision won't be made until his season is finished.
"After football season, I'll know where I want to be at. I'll decide as soon as football season is over," Bullard said.
Right now, Clemson and Wake Forest are tied at the top as his favorites.
As a junior, Bullard had 98 tackles, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
