OT Xzavier Ward Profile
Colquitt County High School (Moultrie, Ga.) offensive tackle Xzavier Ward spoke to CUTigers about the day trip he's planning to Tigertown.
"It will be my first trip," he said. "I just want to get a feel for the campus and their program."
Offensive tackles/tight ends coach Danny Pearman is Ward's main recruiter from Clemson.
"I haven't talked to him since about a week ago, but I have talked to him a couple of times," Ward said.
"He's been trying to get me to come up there. He said it's a great school and a great place to be."
Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina State, Purdue, and South Carolina have all offered.
"I have no favorites right now," Ward said. "I would say Georgia, Alabama and Clemson are recruiting me the hardest."
His decision is likely to be made following his senior season at Colquitt County.
Ward, who stands 6-7 and weighs 260 pounds, has also visited Georgia, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Florida State. The trip to Georgia Tech was over this past weekend.
