CUTigers spoke to Zach Debell Monday night about what schools have been by lately.

"Duke and Michigan came last week for academic things. Today, Iowa State and Rutgers came. Michigan and Clemson came to practice," Debell said. "Tomorrow, N.C. State is going to be here. I think Tennessee is coming in on Thursday." A former Clemson/Tarpon Springs graduate also watched Monday's practice and day at school.

"Theo Mougros came to watch practice as well. He played at Tarpon and went off to play at Clemson as well… He was there 92-96, at Tarpon," Debell said.

Mougros played fullback, defensive tackle and started at offensive guard during his Clemson career, which spanned from 1996-00.

Debell still has some time before seriously considering whether or not he's going to follow Mougros' trail to Clemson.

Class is in session for two more weeks before exams pick up. For the meantime, recruiting has been placed on the back burner.

"I'm pretty wide-open. I don't have any favorites right now," he said.

"Right now I'm just focused on spring ball and homework."

Next Friday is the Tarpon Springs spring game against Lakeland. This Saturday is Tarpon Springs' split squad scrimmage.
