CUTigers caught up with Harnett Central High School (Angier, N.C.) quarterback Brian Taylor for his thoughts on his Thursday afternoon in Tigertown.

"It was definitely a good experience," he said. "I liked going through all the facilities and seeing everything. I liked all the coaches. It was a real family atmosphere—the coaches were. I saw a few players. I really liked everything up there."

On the field, Taylor was OK with what he did on the field during the afternoon session.

"I was a little stiff after the long ride, but I thought I did pretty well," he said.

During the trip, Taylor and his father met with coach Dabo Swinney and offensive coordinator Billy Napier.

"We got to look at a little film and saw a little bit of what they do," Taylor said.

Following the Clemson camp, he visited Wake Forest on Friday and N.C. State on Sunday.

"As far as the rest of the summer, I'm hoping to get to ECU and Virginia, too," Taylor said.

The timeframe he's looking at for a decision remains unchanged since the last time he spoke to CUTigers.

"I just want to make the right decision. I don't know. How long it takes is how long it takes," Taylor said.

As a junior, Taylor threw for 2,000 yards and rushed for another 1,000. In only six games during his sophomore season, he accounted for 1,500 yards of total offense and 20 touchdowns (13 passing, seven rushing). Top Stories
