CUTigers recently caught up with Scotts Branch High School (Summerton) tight end Jerell Adams to talk about his latest experience in Tigertown.

It was one thing in particular that stood out to Adams, who also claims offers from South Carolina, Auburn, Florida and Notre Dame.

"I like the coaching at Clemson," he said. "It's a very nice style."

Working out with the tight ends during his stay on campus, Adams spent a lot of time working with Clemson tight ends coach Danny Pearman. Adams said he also spoke a lot with his main recruiter, defensive ends coach Chris Rumph.

Overall, he gives the trip to Clemson very high marks.

"It's a nice school. They don't give you a reason not to come to school. It's got everything in a school that you could want," Adams said.

Following the visit, he unveiled his top-five, in order.

"South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama and Florida," Adams said.

The Gamecocks have stuck out over the pack for a longtime.

"It's just been my school since I was little," he said.

Adams plans to announce his decision on National Signing Day in February.
