S Kadetrix Marcus Profile
Stephenson High School (Stone Mountain) Kadetrix Marcus, who's taken visits recently to Clemson, Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee and South Florida.
Along with several of his teammates, Marcus talked to main recruiter, defensive ends coach Chris Rumph, and met head coach Dabo Swinney.
Marcus recently shared his thoughts on his first trip to Clemson with CUTigers.
"It was cool. There weren't too many there but the people in there for the summer program, but it was pretty cool," Marcus said. "We got to talk to the coaches."
With offers from each school he visited, plus those from South Carolina, West Virginia and Stanford, Marcus does not claim any favorites right now.
"I should have one soon," he said.
Marcus will look at several factors as he gets ready to cut his list down and work towards a decision, which he expects to make before signing day.
"The environment, the best fit for me—a place where I can live for the next three to five years," he said. "I want to go to a place with a good alumni-base in the state I want to live in.
"If I can fit in with the team and the teammates—get along with the players. I want to fit in to the scheme and the defense."
As a junior, Marcus had 90 tackles, six pass breakups, four forced fumbles and an interception.
Marcus is currently ranked as the No. 50 safety in the country by Scout.com and is also rated three stars.
