He already has double-digit scholarship offers from several of the nation's top programs.

Elston has two years remaining in high school, but already has a top three including an overall favorite.

"I have been to Georgia, Clemson and Alabama so far this summer," said Trae Elston. "I plan on going to Auburn's camp this month. Right now I would say my favorites are Clemson, Florida State and Auburn."

Elston reports 11 offers including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Texas Tech and UCLA. He talked about his top three.

Auburn: "I like Auburn because it's close to home. My mom would like that. They also have good players down there."

Clemson: "Clemson is really my No. 1 school. I love it there and would really like to go there."

Florida State: "Florida State is a long drive, but it's not too long. I love the atmosphere. I like their colors and the pro combat uniforms."

Elston's interest in Clemson was really brought on by a camp attended earlier this summer.

"That's really the main reason I like them," Elston said. "They brought back a lot of players from their history. They had guys there like Brian Dawkins and Jeff Davis. Brian Dawkins really inspired me with the speech he gave. That's really why I love Clemson."
