We did a little conditioning afterwards. I tell you, I'm impressed with the conditioning of our guys. When you see a guy like Brandon Thompson leading the pack ... and Miguel Chavis that's impressive. Good day. Just trying to keep getting better.
ON MALLICIAH GOODMAN: It's been a good opportunity for him (filling in for Da'Quan Bowers this week) and for Tavaris Barnes. Tavaris is a five-technique when he's supposed to be a nine-technique. Or he's a nine and supposed to be a seven. He doesn't have quite all the knowledge yet. We've tried to make the best of it and take advantage of what we have here. Malliciah is just going to be a sophomore and he looks like a junior or a senior out there. He's a little wise beyond his years and on his way to being a really good football player.
ON KYLE PARKER: When he clocks in and he's crosses football focus ... that's what he does. That's why he's been able to be successful at two sports. He's able to compartmentalize ... 'hey this is what I'm doing right now.' He's done a super job of picking everything back up and practicing well. He's a lot sharper now than the first day or so. He's doing a really good job leading and that's one of the things I've challenged him on. We'll see what happens. We'll have to adjust his schedule a little bit Sunday and Monday.
