Barring any last-second complications, former Clemson quarterback Willy Korn is transferring to North Greenville, a Division II school.
Korn transferred to Marshall earlier this year but has decided to leave the Thundering Herd after not claiming the starting quarterback position during preseason camp.
Having already transferred between Division I schools earlier this year when he went from Clemson to Marshall, the NCAA does not allow another transfer within the calendar year.
Sources have told CUTigers.com Korn could be on campus as soon as Tuesday at North Greenville and that the team was told about Korn's arrival Monday night in a team meeting.
CUTigers reported Monday afternoon Korn was contemplating the move.
Korn is expected to be on campus as soon as today.
The Crusaders open their 2010 hschedule Saturday, Aug. 28 against Mars Hill.
Practice began for North Greenville last Friday.
