Rams Sign 26 New Recruits to LOI's

Colorado State signed 26 new football recruits to Letters-of-Intent on National LOI signing day. Here are the profiles of Sonny Lubick's newest Rams, as provided by the CSU Sports Information Office...

Kyle Bell, RB 6-2, 210 Fr...Keenesburg, CO (Weld Central HS)

Became the Colorado all-time leading prep rusher in 2003 with 8,248 yards in his career...ranks 13th nationally in all-time rushing yards...posted 2,733 yards on the ground this season and was held below 200 yards just twice during his senior campaign...four-time team MVP...team captain...named a four-time all-conference and all-state performer and was a state semifinalist for the Wendy's High School Heisman award...runs the 40-yard dash at 4.46 seconds...ranked first in his class with a 4.15 grade-point average...competed in basketball, baseball and track and field for Weld Central HS...head football coach Matt Sloan.

Ciarre Campbell, DB, 6-2, 185 Fr...Aurora, CO (Denver South HS)

All-conference defensive back...broke arm senior year...five brothers and two sisters, Brother Calais signed LOI with Miami Hurricanes...second in state in the long and triple jumps...4.43 in the 40-yard dash...head football coach Ryan Mullaney.

Anthony Celestine, WR, 5-11, 170 Fr...Ridgecrest, CA (Burroughs HS)

Set a state record with 2,053 receiving yards in his senior season...first team all-state and an all-area selection by the Bakersfield Californian and the L.A. Times...all-Southern Section and all-league honoree...offensive player of the year in the division and Bakersfield Californian...team MVP...helped to guide team to two Desert Sky Conference championships and a spot in the section finals...holds every receiving record at Burroughs High School...ranked 84th among California recruits by SuperPrep.com...team captain...also competed in basketball and track and field...head coach Jeff Steinberg.

All-Mission Conference National Division defensive team in 2003...second team all-conference...voted most valuable defensive back by his team...helped his team to the Mission Conference championship and the state semi-finals...Fullerton finished ranked 13th in the nation in 2003...graduated from Cypress High School and attended El Camino College before coming to Fullerton.

Chris Davis, LB, 6-1, 230 JC-Tr...Oxnard, CA (Moorpark College)

First-team all-conference and junior college all-American selection with over 100 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles, and two blocked field goals as a sophomore...runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds...had offers from BYU and Hawaii and drew interest from Oregon State, Michigan State, UCLA, and UNLV...the Ventura County Star called Davis "one of the more recruited junior college linebackers in the country."

Dan Gury, OL, 6-4, 275, Fr...Boulder, CO (Monarch HS)

Earned first team all-state honors and was named to a Pre-season All-American Team West Region this season...rated as the state's No. 6 prospect by Rivals.com...had offers from Michigan State and Oregon...three-year starter and two-time all-Colorado pick by the Rocky Mountain News...key element in a Monarch offense that produced more than 4,000 rushing yards and averaged 47 points per game this season...helped Monarch to a 24-1 record over the past two seasons...ranked 49th by SuperPrep.com among recruits in the midlands...holds a 3.7 grade-point average.

Caleb Hanie, QB, 6-2, 230, Fr...Forney, TX (Forney HS)
