New-Look Rams Men's Team opens with win…

While the CSU Men's Basketball team may have a whole lot of new faces, they did keep up one long standing CSU tradition. The Men's team opened the season with the school's 21st straight home victory, a 80-50 pounding of Montana Tech.

Lone returning starter, forward Brian Greene, and guard Andy Birley, the only returning Rams with much playing experience, paced the scoring with 12 points each. Newcomers Matt Nelson and Darian Burke added 10 each. CSU broke the game open midway through the first half with a 23-2 run that gave them a 27-9 lead.

A six-game road trip for the Men's team begins Tuesday night when the Rams visit Washington State.
