Rams Fall to South Carolina, 66-58

The Colorado State University men's basketball team put up a good fight, but fell eight points short, losing to Southeastern Conference member South Carolina 66-58 in Columbia on Saturday night.

Senior forward Brian Greene led the Rams with 24 points, setting a new career high. Greene also led the team in rebounds with six.

Center Matt Nelson added 14 points for CSU.

South Carolina was led by guard Jamel Bradley, who scored 16 points. The Gamecocks were only the second team to shoot better than 40 percent from the field against CSU this season.

The Rams return home on December 5th to take on in-state rival Colorado. Game time is 7 p.m. at Moby Arena.
