Rams Men Fall To UNLV

Colorado State's battered and beaten men's basketball team lost on the road at UNLV Monday night, 75-68, despite a career-best 32 points and a game-high 11 rebounds by forward Brian Greene.

The Rams trailed by as many as 15, but cut the lead to two in the second half behind the play of Greene and guard Andy Birley, who finished with 13 points. The Rams were unable to get any closer in falling to 8-9 overall and 0-3 in Mountain West Conference play.

Colorado State was 18-of-25 from the field in the second half, shooting 72 percent in cutting the Running Rebels lead from 15 to two, but it was not enough.

The Rams are back in action on Saturday, playing host to Air Force at 1:00 p.m.
