Colorado State Puts Pads On

"We've made progress. I think that we're getting things done each day at practice. Overall, I'm happy with what we have done so far," said Lubick.

Colorado State University's football squad concluded its first week of spring workouts Thursday with a two-hour workout.

Following the drills - the team's fourth practice of the spring - 10th-year head coach Sonny Lubick said he's pleased with the progress made thus far.

"We've made progress. I think that we're getting things done each day at practice. Overall, I'm happy with what we have done so far," said Lubick.

Thursday was the first time this spring the Rams had a full-contact drill. Colorado State conducted a 20-minute "inside run" session that featured live tackling.

Lubick will now give his team four off days with the upcoming holiday weekend approaching. He said the Rams would return to practice Tuesday, April 2, with workouts also planned for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
