Rams Set For Saturday Scrimmage

Colorado State University's football team will stage the most extensive scrimmage of spring practice to date during a two-hour practice session Saturday morning.

Colorado State University's football team will stage the most extensive scrimmage of spring practice to date during a two-hour practice session Saturday morning.

The team will be on the field at 10 a.m. for stretching, followed by drills. Head coach Sonny Lubick said he expects to start the situational scrimmage by 11 a.m. Colorado State will be concluding its third week of practice with the Saturday session. The Rams will practice three times next week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - to conclude spring practice. The Saturday's session is the team's annual Green-Gold Spring Game at Hughes Stadium.

A free pancake breakfast from 9:30-11:30 a.m. takes place on the west concourse, with the spring game to follow.
