Lubick said overall, he's pleased with his team's play.
"There's more positive than negative. Overall, the team is playing well, playing hard, and playing together."
"One thing I really like is the leadership. You look at Peter Hogan, and no one knows who he is. He just goes out there and plays. He's a great leader. So are David Vickers, Wallace Thomas, Rhett Nelson and Morgan Pears. That's been a real key for us this year."
Colorado State faces a Fresno State team that's 2-3 on the year.
"They are a solid defensive football team. They move around well," Lubick said. "Offensively, one area I see where they've improved the most is the offensive line. They are real big and strong. They are bigger than they've ever been. They've always had good skill people."
The game can be heard live on the Colorado State Sports Network, including flagship station KIIX (1410 AM) in Fort Collins and KHOW (630 AM) in Denver. Rich Bircumshaw calls the play-by-play, Mark Driscoll is the analyst, and Brian Roth provides sideline reports.
Friday's game will also be shown live nationally by ESPN. Steve Levy calls the play-by-play, Rod Gilmore is the analyst and Heather Cox is the sideline reporter.
