Forward Brian Greene scored 28 points, 16 in the second half and teammate Andy Birley added 18 points to lead Colorado State to a 77-63 win over Cleveland State in the final game of the Dell BCA Invitational Tuesday night in Moby Arena.

Trailing 30-28 at intermission, the Rams opened the second half with a 10-2 run to lead, 38-32. The Rams led by as many as 16 points in the game before settling for the 14-point margin.

"It was a tale of two halves. It was all Cleveland State the first half," said Rams' coach Dale Layer. "We talked at halftime about tempo." By the time the second half reached the midway point, Colorado State led 51-40. Greene, Birley, and senior forward Quantone Smith had combined for all 23 of the Rams' second half points to that point.
