Point guard traveling to Boulder

The Colorado basketball program will play host to a player it hopes will be the program's future point guard this weekend. Get inside for more.

Shane Larkin, the son of former Cincinnati Reds shortstop Barry Larkin, confirmed to BuffaloSportsNews.net this week that he plans to visit Boulder this weekend and check out the Colorado basketball program.

Larkin is a three-star point guard from Orlando, Fla., who holds offers from a variety of programs, including Alabama, Boston College, Iowa, VCU, Clemson, George Mason, South Florida and Central Florida in addition to the Buffs.

Larkin is 5-foot-11 and about 155 pounds. He can score and distribute and prides himself on being a team player.
