Henderson commits in Boulder

One week ago, Norco High School cornerback Greg Henderson hadn't even heard from the Colorado football program. Today he is a Buff. Get inside for more.

Greg Henderson flew to Colorado on Friday morning with his father and spent the weekend getting to know CU coaches and players, the campus and the school.

During the day Saturday he had seen and heard all he needed to and he informed CU coach Jon Embree that he had decided to be Buff.

"It was great," Henderson said. "Me and my father had a very nice time. We felt at home with the coaches and players. I felt a part of the family and no doubt, Colorado was my No. 1."

Henderson became the 10th recruit to give an oral commitment to the program and the 11th member of the class, including grayshirt offensive lineman Alex Lewis, who signed with CU last year but whose scholarship counts toward this class.

Henderson, a two-star prospect from Norco High School in Norco, Calif., is the second cornerback in the class.

We'll have more on Henderson and his plans for the immediate future in another update soon.
