Williams excited by latest Pac 12 offer

Gardena (Calif.) Serra junior linebacker Dwight Williams will be one of the elite prospects in the west next fall and he picked up another Pac 12 offer last Friday.

Dwight Williams already has three offers on the table, all from the Pac 12 and he was excited to receiver No. 4 as well.

"Arizona State offered me on Friday," Williams said. "They came to my game to watch me and must have liked what they saw, even though I only played about four drives because we were winning so big. That's the only downside to playing on a good team, you don't always get to play in the second half but it's a blessing.

"On Saturday I went to the USC- ASU game and really focused on the Sun Devils and how they play. I thought they looked good, they were right there and played a good first half but USC kind of took over and that was probably the best they have played in a while. I'm definitely interested in ASU though and I'm going to stay in touch with them."

Williams' other offers are from Colorado, Oregon State and UCLA. He's also hearing from just about every top program in the country including SEC schools like Florida and LSU.

"I'm hoping to go to the Rose Bowl this weekend to see the UCLA-USC game but I'm not sure if I'll be able to," Williams said. "I might have to go to my grandmothers house so we'll see what happens. It should be a great game and a great atmosphere but family comes first for me. Hopefully I can go because I like both schools a lot but I'll be watching either way."
