After taking a visit to Boulder only a couple of weeks a go, it didn't take long for Houston area offensive lineman Elijah Rodriguez to realize that he wanted to be a Buff. Rodriguez made the call Friday night to Colorado coaches letting them know he was a Buff.

BuffPlayBook.com has visited with Rodriguez on several occasions and it was fairly obviously the decision would occur before his high school season started.

"I want to get the decision behind me," Rodriguez said. "It's something that has been weighing on my heart. I knew when I left Colorado that they were the ones to beat for my services."

Friday night he made that decision.

"The timing was right," Rodriguez said. "Coach Walters and Coach MacIntyre were extremely happily."

Rodriguez picked Colorado over Arizona State, Arkansas State, Fresno State, Houston, Illinois, Kansas, Nevada, New Mexico State, Texas State, Tulsa and UCF to mention a few.
