One Colorado commitment is preparing for the Colorado State playoffs.

Cherokee Trail High School will take on Mountain Range this Friday night, Colorado commitment Evan White is proud of his team's 9-2 record.

White, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound safety, has helped his team to post season play with four interceptions and a kickoff return for a touchdown.

BuffPlayBook.com recently caught up with White to get his thoughts on his senior season and his status as a Colorado commitment.

"I'm excited about the playoffs," White said. "We have had a solid season so far."

White keeps up with his future Colorado team as much as possible.

"I watched them play UCLA this past weekend on television," White said. "I thought they played pretty good."

White committed to the Buffs over the summer and has built a solid relationship with his recruiting coach Troy Walters.

"I talk to Coach Walters at least once a week," White said. "Coach Walters is a really good guy, he really knows what he is talking about. He is a great person to be around."

White has made it clear that he is firmly committed to the Buffs.

"I have no other offers," White said. "Everyone knows how committed I am to Colorado."
