The Buffs are off to a fast start recruiting 2015 prospects, it appears that one prospect on Colorado's radar is three star defensive back from Servite High School Maurice Davison.
BuffPlayBook.com caught up with Davison recently to get his thoughts on the recruiting process so far.
"So far it has been cool," Davison said. "It been fun, now I'm just waiting for some offers to start coming in."
According to Scout.com National Recruiting Expert Greg Biggins, that shouldn't be an issue for the future.
"He's physical against the run but it's his ability to cover that sets him apart and makes him such an intriguing prospect," Biggins recently wrote. "If he continues to physically mature and ends up in the 5-10-5-11 range, he'll be a national recruit with the ability to play for just about anyone in the country."
The Compton native, a 5-foot-8, 160-pound defensive back, isn't tied to staying on the West Coast and is willing to play anywhere in the country.
According to Davison the following schools are showing a lot of interest.
Davison did take an unofficial visit to Pasadena on Saturday to watch UCLA host Colorado.
"I thought Colorado fought hard," Davison said. "UCLA is probably a little stronger team, but I was impressed with the Buffs."
