The recruiting process is getting underway for the Class of 2015.
Juniors all across the country are starting to hear from college coaches, with several already holding offers in hand.
Coach Mike MacIntyre was hire this past December to rebuild and return Colorado to national relevance.
MacIntyre and his coaching staff currently have 15 commitments for the Class of 2014, it doesn't appear that they are being shy on getting in early with juniors of the Class of 2015.
"It's going good," Calhoun said. "There are several schools showing interest in me, right now I don't have an offer."
Calhoun's father played college football at Colorado State, the Rams are one school that is showing interest in the legacy athlete.
"I would have to say Colorado is recruiting me the hardest," Calhoun said. "I get stuff from them everyday and Facebook messages. My dad is pushing me hard to Colorado State. I don't know he would really feel if I ended up being a Buffalo."
Calhoun is looking for a school that is the best fit for him. He wants to find a school that has a lot of tradition, a program that is either winning or on the verge of winning and a school that has a good engineering program.
Calhoun isn't shy about what conferences he would like to play in.
"Either the Pac 12 or the Big 10," Calhoun said. "Those are my favorite conferences."
Calhoun, a 6-foot-0, 175-pound athlete, who has run a 11.1 in the 100 meters is also hearing from several other schools.
As a junior Calhoun rushed for over 1,000 yards.
