That's the million dollar question that is on the minds of all CU Buff fans going into tonight's 7:30 p.m. mountain time kickoff.
BuffPlayBook.com looks at the Five Keys of the Game for Colorado to be victorious.
KEY NO. 1
The Colorado offensive line must play its best game of the season against a very good USC defensive line. They must protect their quarterback at all cost. They also have to open up some running lanes for the Buffs trio of running backs. The tandem of Michael Adkins, Christian Powell and Tony Jones has had success in the past few games.
KEY NO. 2
Buffs QB Sefo Liufau had his best game of his young career last weekend against Cal, he must have another all star performance, throwing the ball against a very good USC secondary. If he is given time and if he can turn in another 300 yard game, the Buffs will have a better chance of pulling off the upset.
KEY NO. 3
The Trojans have some very talented running backs. Colorado linebackers and defensive line must play their best game of the year tonight. USC offensive line is one of the best in the league, so this will be a key match-up for both teams.
KEY NO. 4
USC Quarterback Cody Kessler can be a weak link for the Trojans, if Colorado can put pressure on him and if the Buffs secondary can come up with a couple of turnovers. If this can happen CU has a chance for the upset.
KEY NO. 5
USC has played really good special teams in the past few weeks. They dominated and scored on Cal on several key special team plays. The Buffs, especially at the beginning of the season has had its share of issues. Colorado must protect the football, they can't afford to give up any easy scores. Special teams for the Buffs must be at their best tonight.
Tonight is senior night, this has been a tough four to five years for these players, Buff players are thinking of the possibility of a bowl for the first time since 2007. A victory tonight could propel the Buffs into Utah next week with something really to play for.
