Cheyenne East HS signal caller and linebacker Tevis Bartlett has three schools showing interest, Colorado, Iowa and an offer from his home state Wyoming team.

Bartlett, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound athlete attended summer camp at Colorado last summer and came away impressed with the Buff's new coaching staff.

"I think they are pretty interested in me," Bartlett told BuffPlayBook.com. "I went to camp there this past summer, they showed a lot of interest in me and I have stay in contact with them."

Bartlett also came to a game in Boulder this past fall, he attended the Oregon vs Colorado game.

"I loved how we walked up to the stadium and went through all of the tailgating," Bartlett said. "The game day atmosphere was very cool."

One of Colorado's traditions impressed the talented signal caller.

"To watch Ralphie running out on the field is really cool," Bartlett said. "I really like the campus, the way it's laid out. I'm going to study secondary education and they have my major, so that's a plus."

Bartlett is building a solid relationship with the Buff's coaching staff. Coach Andy LaRussa is recruiting the quarterback.

"I really like the new coaches," Bartlett said. "They seem to be turning the football program around. They did a great job at San Jose State and they seem to be on the right way at Colorado already."
