One junior college defensive tackle that made the trip to Boulder this past weekend is Trevor Kelly from the College of San Mateo.

BuffPlayBook.com caught up with Kelly after he arrived at Denver International Airport to get his take on his visit.

"It was good, I had a lot of fun on the trip," Kelly said. "I learned a lot about the program, I'm excited about what the future holds here."

Kelly, a 6-foot-3, 305-pound athlete, is currently rated a three star prospect by Scout.com.

The standout defensive tackle didn't commit on his visit to CU this past weekend, he plans on taking one more visit before making a decision.

"I'm going to Cal next weekend," Kelly said. "I will most likely make my decision after the visit to Cal."

Kelly really liked the feel he got around Boulder, especially from the Buff Coaching Staff.

"There is a real family feel around the program," Kelly said. "I loved the atmosphere, the family aspect, the coaching staff and how they make weight lifting a major priority on their program. Those are all things important to me."

Kelly will enroll at the school of his choice in January.
