One Colorado commitment isn't afraid of competition.

With true freshman Sefo Liufau starting at the quarterback position this fall, might be enough for some freshmen signal callers to shy away from being recruited by the Buffs.

Not the case for California quarterback Cade Apsay.

Apsay has said on several occasions that he is looking forward to competing this summer and fall camp for the starting role.

Apsay took his official visit to Boulder this past weekend and it appears that it was better than he expected it to be.

"It was a great visit," Apsay told BuffPlayBook.com. "I had a lot of fun."

Apsay got the opportunity to sit down and visit one on one with his future quarterback coach Brian Lindgren, giving him a chance to get see the inter workings of the position.

"It's a good fit for me at Colorado," Apsay said. I really enjoy learning a lot from Coach Lindgren. I have also built a solid relationship with Coach Bernardi. He is great to talk to , he cares more about you than just a football player."

Apsay also got a chance to visit one on one with Coach Mike MacIntyre as well. "Coach MacIntyre is a really cool guy, I had a meeting with him, my mom and my brother. He is very focused on his football players.

Apsay will enroll at Boulder this summer and according to the talented signal caller, he plans on coming this summer for his fall camp preparation.

"I can't wait to get there," Apsay said. "It will be an awesome."
