One future 2015 Arizona High School athlete is making the most out of the recruiting process.

Tempe quarterback Emanuel Gant took in several college games this past fall and spoke to BuffPlayBook.com Thursday night on how he is adjusting to the process.

"Recruiting is going good," Gant said. "Several schools are currently recruiting me to play quarterback for them."

Gant threw for 2,912 yards and 24 touchdowns as a sophomore, and added 181 yards rushing.

Gant is currently hearing from the likes of Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Arizona State and Colorado.

"Colorado is sending me a lot of letters and stuff," Gant said. "I know that they are a team that is rebuilding and should be better in the next few years."

Gant has had the chance to see a lot of the two instate schools that have showed him a lot of interest.

"Both Arizona and Arizona State are showing a lot of interest in me," Gant said. "It makes me feel good, those schools don't always recruit in-state guys."

Gant wants to find a college with a good medical program to advance his study plans.

The talented signal caller got the chance to visit some football games this past fall, attending several ASU and Arizona football games.

"I loved the gameday atmosphere at both places," Gant said. "Both have great student sections. All of the games I went to were packed ballgames, it was very impressive."
