Four-Star DB Bubba Bolden Has Arizona State, Colorado and Florida As Sure Fire Official Visits

Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman defensive back Bubba Bolden showed why he's among the top safeties in the nation in the Gaels dominant win over Cedar Hill (Texas) over the weekend.

There aren't too many safeties who have the all around game Bubba Bolden flashed over the weekend when the Gaels took down Cedar Hill 44-14, in a game that was even more lopsided than the score indicated.

Bolden is a big, physical safety who is strong against the run, is very good on the blitz but also has the athleticism to drop back and play in coverage. He plays with an edge to him and has the enforcer mentality you like to see in the secondary.

On the recruiting front, Bolden hasn't set up any of his official visits but has a good idea where he'll be taking them.

"I know the first visit I take will be to Colorado," Bolden. "I don't have a top five yet and there are still new schools coming in but Colorado will be my first trip and they're recruiting me harder than anyone right now.

"I'll be taking that visit and the visit to Arizona State with my teammate Alex Perry. I'm definitely going to visit Florida too and I'm still talking a lot with Coach Meat (Martin) at UCLA, that's my guy and USC as well. Like I said, I'm still open to new schools coming in as well and I'm not ready to narrow things down just yet."

Don't look for a decision from Bolden any time soon. We would expect he'll take all five of his visits before making a decision. ASU, Colorado and UCLA are the three schools we hear mentioned the most with Bolden but we also think he has sincere interest in schools outside the West like Florida as well as Alabama if the Tide decided to offer.
