Colorado picked up a commitment from four-star wing Tyler Bey on Saturday during his official visit.

2017 recruit Tyler Bey verbally committed to Colorado on Saturday, Las Vegas Knicks coach Lamar Bigby tells Scout.

"Tyler choose Colorado because of their ability to develop players and the relationships he developed with their coaching staff, coach [Tad] Boyle, coach [Jean] Prioleau and coach [Mike] Rohn, were huge in recruiting Tyler," Bigby said. "[They] never missed a game all spring and summer loved him at his worst and best."

Bey committed during his official visit and picked the Buffaloes over strong interest from Arizona State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Wyoming.

A 6-foot-7, 200-pound wing out of Studio City (Calif.) Middlebrooks Academy, emerged as a four-star prospect in the spring and is regarded as Scout’s No. 27 small forward.

“Tyler is a multi-positional defender that can guard two, three and fours,” Bigby told Scout. He’s a high level Athlete who plays above the rim and rebounds at a high level.

Bey closed out the summer averaging 17.3 points and 11.3 rebounds a game at the adidas Summer Championship.
