Buffs ranked in both polls

For the first time in nearly 11 years, the Colorado Buffaloes' football team is ranked...

A day after dominating Oregon State to the tune of 47-6, the Buffaloes come in at No. 21 in the new AP poll and No. 23 in the new Coaches Poll. It marks the first time Colorado has cracked the top 25 since early November 2005, when they went into the 10th game of the season ranked No. 22.

That's 569 long weeks Buffs fans have waited to see their team ranked.

Colorado sits atop the Pac-12 South standings with a 2-0 conference record, and their only loss on the season was a road contest at No. 4 Michigan, a game they likely would have won if not for a handful of special teams miscues.

Colorado will travel out to USC this coming weekend. The Trojans are still under .500 on the season but they are coming off a convincing 41-20 victory over Arizona State.
