"I had an amazing trip to Colorado," said Cotton. "I loved every second of it."
His player host was Falo's older brother, N.J., a sophomore linebacker for the Buffs. And while the Falo's are family, it was the family atmosphere that struck Cotton.
"What stood out to me is how everyone is so tight and family," said Cotton."And the facilities are top notch, there is nothing wrong with them at all."
More importantly, he enjoyed the atmosphere inside Folsom Field.
"The game atmosphere was crazy," said Cotton. "They were storming the field after the game. They have a great fan base."
Cotton's position versatility was brought up with the Buffs coaches and they told him where they envision playing him.
"They're recruiting me for cornerback, nickel and a little bit of free safety," said Cotton. "They see me as Chidobe Awuzie, who's about to leave."
In fact, both defensive back coaches for the Buffs spent time with him, as did head coach Mike MacIntyre.
"I spent a lot of time with Coach (Charles) Clark and Coach (Joe) Tumpkin," said Cotton. "And I love Coach Mac. He brings a lot to the table and he's a DB guy."
