Chris Miller has turned down offers from Notre Dame, Texas and Baylor in recent weeks, but the talented two-way player did accept an opportunity to take an official visit to Ole Miss last weekend.
“It was pretty good,” Miller told OMSpirit.com's Ben Garrett when asked about his trip to Oxford. “It was a little bit better than I expected. The college town really made it a lot better, and the facilities were nice. The coaches were cool, and I like the players. I just really wanted to experience the Ole Miss campus and life for a couple of days, you know?”
Miller was accompanied on the trip by his dad, who is a Mississippi native.
A Colorado pledge since June, Miller now has to make a final decision between the Buffaloes and Rebels. He told OMSpirit.com he will do that “probably this coming Friday or Saturday.”
Miller visited Colorado unofficially last spring, and again in the summer, before taking his official visit to Boulder in mid-December.
"I love the area and the coaches and the players and just the vibe at Colorado," Miller previously told BuffStampede.com. “The one thing I love about Colorado is, if I didn't play football, I would still want to go here."
Miller and Grant Polley, who re-affirmed his commitment to Colorado last week, helped the Denton Broncos to a 9-2 record in 2016. Miller stood out on both sides of the ball.
Colorado and Ole Miss are both recruiting Miller for cornerback.
