Virginia WR Had a Great Trip to Boulder
The Hokies are in Jeremy's current top five along with Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina State, and our Buffs.
"I don't have a leader right now," explaind Gilchrist.
As a junior, Jeremy went off for 63 catches and 1,060 yards receiving. Also recording nine touchdowns. If his first game is any indication, he will surpass those marks this season.
In a 33-8 win over First Colonial Jeremy had 10 catches for 137 yards and one touchdown. He also had a punt return for 38 yards, an interception, and a fumble recovery.
As for his trip to Colorado, he was very impressed.
"It was beautiful. The weather was great and the city really topped it off. I was really impressed with that number 15 there(Jeremy Bloom). I liked the way he plays. I saw their first game and they really passed a lot more than I expected. They looked real good."
Jeremy had a chance to speak with many CU coaches on his visit.
"They were telling me that they like they way I played. And that I play a lot faster than I look."
So does CU have an offer on the table?
"You will have to speak with my coach to find that out. He keeps track of that stuff."
Virginia Tech was the first school to contact Jeremy in the September calling period.
