Ivy, Pac Ten, or Big 12 for Fairview Senior?

Kelton Lynn is the top rated WR in Colorado this year and is ranked #23 in Colorado. After finishing last year with 100 catches and 1400 yards, Kelton will be hard pressed to match those feats this fall.

Height: 6-3
Weight: 175
40 Time: 4.5
Bench: 245
Vertical: 27"
Hometown: Boulder, CO
High School: Fairview

Kelton's current GPA stands at an amazing 4.9 on a weighted 4.0 scale. Nevertheless, those grades for anyone are outstanding. A 28ACT and 1350SAT, Kelton doesn't lack when it comes to study time. It comes as no surprise as to whom and why some schools are recruiting him.

In the last week Kelton has spoke to Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, CU, and CSU. Stanford leads for his services, but is remaining open to the recruiting process. A sister in Palo Alto, Father an alum, and family in the area, Stanford provides not only the means for athletic achievement but scholastic as well. "I am really interested in Engineering and Language Arts, so we will see where that goes." With all the aforementioned schools having strong liberal arts and engineering programs, it seems the process keeps getting harder.

Playing in front of 50,000 hometown fans is also appealing to Kelton. With a recruiting battle between CU coach Brian Cabral and former CU coach AJ Cristoff at Stanford, Kelton will definitely have his hands full before choosing. Friends and family aside.

Being recruited as a WR, some may say Stanford has the inside track with their recent trend in offense, but not so fast my friend! CU will lose three WR's this year without including media mogul star Jeremy Bloom. Depth will be needed in Boulder along with the roster fillers in Palo Alto.

Kelton is really just focusing on Fairview football right now and after coming off an upset special last week against Fort Collins, that seems the better choice. We will catch up with Mr. Lynn later this fall and see what his plans for the next four years are.
