L.J. Wallace will be at Sacramento State's camp on Saturday with coaches from Arizona State, Arizona, Cal, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, UCLA, Utah, USC and Washington in attendance. Then on Sunday, he is set to perform at San Jose State's camp in front of coaches from Colorado, Oregon State and UCLA.

So the Buffaloes, who already extended a scholarship offer to Wallace in early May, will get two chances to see him in-person and continue to try to recruit him to Boulder.

"As soon as I got that offer, Colorado told me they want me there playing corner," he said. "They said they got my spot ready and everything. I am going to come take a visit, probably in July, to go check it out.

"I feel like if I do end up going to play at Colorado, I can make a big impact playing corner and locking people down. I know a few of their defensive backs just went in the NFL Draft, so it sounds like a good idea to go play for them. It sounds like I could be really successful there."

Wallace's other offers at this point are from Fresno State, Nevada, San Jose State, Utah State and Wyoming.

"Not really," he admitted when asked if any of those offers stand out. "Colorado plays in the Pac-12, so that is the offer that has caught my eye so far."

Wallace wants to make his college decision sometime this summer, and he would like to add some more Pac-12 options before he makes the call.

"I am going to try to show out this weekend, try to pick up a couple more offers," he said. "I'd like to get one from Oregon State or Washington or Washington State."

A two-way standout at Buhach Colony High School, Wallace also returns punts and kicks, and serves as the team's long snapper on special teams. At 6-foot-3, 185-pounds, Wallace has good length as a cornerback prospect.
