Colorado Leads the Pack for Houston Wideout
40 time: 4.5
From: Houston, Texas
High School: Westbury
Has he been in contact with Edwin since he left for CU?
"No I haven't spoken with him but I speak with his father from time-to-time. He just tells me that he hopes I go there too. From what I hear Edwin really likes it."
Clyde has a current top three of CU, A&M, and Kansas. Why is Colorado the favorite?
"Mainly because they are my only offer and I like Coach Gilmore. I've talked to him every week this month."
Other schools to call this month include Kansas, A&M, SMU, Rice, and Louisiana-Lafayette. He hasn't scheduled any visits yet but plans to do so with CU in time.
"They have sent the info and now I just need to decide when I will visit. It will probably be in November."
On the year thus far Clyde says he has around eight catches resulting in three touchdowns on offense. On defense from his cornerback spot he has six or seven tackles.
Despite his defensive skills, Colorado likes him at wide receiver. Edwards describes himself as a player who is quick with good hands.
Clyde is also a standout basketball player where he averaged 12 points a game last fall at point guard.
Westbury is 2-2 on the year and takes on Austin next.
Edwards carries a 3.8 GPA and has scored a 1090 on his SAT. He is undecided on a major.
