Greg went on to say why he is so interested in CU.

"I love the people there, love the coaches. I went there for a three day camp over the summer and really liked the area. I am going back for either the Kansas or Oklahoma game."

Newman also said that going somewhere new may appeal to him.

"I do love the California weather but going to a new place sounds interesting."

Greg does not have a favorite right now between 'SC, CU, UCLA, Washington, and ASU. He holds around five offers but doesn't want to disclose them per his coach's wishes.

"I think I will take all of my trips and then decide. I don't really like one school over another."

On the year thus far Newman only knows of his totals from games one and three where had around 20 tackles, two sacks, and a pass broken up combined. Westlake is 3-0.

He has no other visits scheduled at this time. Greg carries a 2.4 GPA and scored a 1280 on his SAT. He would like to major in Business and Psychology. Westlake takes on Thousand Oaks next.
