Running Back May Break State Record

Although he may not play against the toughest competition, it is still tough to dispute just how good Kyle Bell is. Through only five games this year he has rushed for 1,336 yards and 17 touchdowns on only 106 carries. He has four games, plus the playoffs to break the record held by Lendale White that was set just last year. Right now he is in third place on the all-time list. His numbers are bringing scholarship offers.

Height: 6-2
Weight: 210
40 time: 4.46
Bench: 320
From: Keenesburg, Colorado
High School: Weld Central

Right now Colorado State, Wyoming, and Northern Colorado have extended offers. Kyle thinks that Utah will soon follow. These are his top schools along with Oregon and Colorado who he is also talking to. Stanford is another school he is interested in but he hasn't heard from The Cardinal since the spring. Bell is also hearing from a lot of Ivy League schools. He has no favorite at this time but may like to stay closer to home.

"I don't want to go too far, like out east or anything. My parents don't mind where I go they just want me to be where I fit best."

Kyle has already taken an official visit to Wyoming two weeks ago. He also took an unofficial visit to Colorado State last weekend for the Utah game. He will visit Fort Collins officially in December. He may try to decide before then though.

"The idea is too commit as soon as possible but if I don't I will take my visits."

All schools involved like him at running back.

That includes Colorado whom is still calling Kyle and sending him letters. Coach Cabral is handling his recruitment for the Buffs.

Bell wil continue his quest to break the state rushing record this Friday against Frederick.

He not only excels on the field, Kyle is an honor roll student off of it. He carries a 4.1 GPA and scored a 1090 on his SAT and a 24 on his ACT. He would like to major in Communications at this point but that may change.
