Brandon Holmes was supposed to make the trek to Boulder this past weekend but there was a little bit of mis-communication that prevented him and his teammate, Jammar Crane, from making it. Brandon is a player that the CU staff will probably want to keep in mind for the future as he has quite a few offers and is emerging as one of the premier tight ends in the Lone Star State. Will he still visit CU after the mishap?"> Brandon Holmes was supposed to make the trek to Boulder this past weekend but there was a little bit of mis-communication that prevented him and his teammate, Jammar Crane, from making it. "I really don't think I am going to visit Colorado unless they offer. People are telling me I shouldn't do that when I could visit many other schools that have offered me."

Those schools include Miami(Ohio), Louisiana-Lafayette, Purdue, Utah, Missouri, Kansas, and Vanderbilt.

So why didn't Brandon and Jammar make the flight?

"We couldn't get it worked out. They sent us the card with the info on our visit but we never received a call from Coach Okruch to confirm it."

Although Holmes says he will probably not visit CU unless they offer, he thinks that Crane "probably will after the season".

The Buffs are now on the outside looking in for Brandon behind teams like Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Purdue, which are his top three. Arkansas, LSU, and CU round out his top six.

On the year Garland is 4-2 and Holmes says he is blocking well. He has not been used at all in the passing game as his squad prefers to run the pigskin. He also plays defensive end and does not prefer one position over the other.

"It depends on what schemes the school I go to will be running."

Holmes carries a 3.0 GPA and scored a 23 on his ACT.

Garland takes on Namine next.
