40 time: 4.5
From: Boulder, Colorado
High School: Fairview
Fairview High School is in an unfamiliar position this year.
"This will be the first time in my career here that we have not made the playoffs," said Lynn.
His squad has fallen to a 3-6 record on the year but he is doing well. He also plays safety in a dime package and has a caused fumble and an interception.
His current plans include visits to Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, and Princeton. He does not have any division one offers yet but expect them to come. Kelton's only set date out of those schools is with the Cardinal on January 16th.
"All of them besides that one are still tentative."
Lynn says that Colorado is still calling him very often.
"I have been talking a lot with Coach Gilmore and Cabral. They are telling me to wait and see what happens after the season. I guess that is when they are going to start offering more players. They tell me that they are very interested in me."
Kelton says that if the Buffs did come through that he may have to forget about the Ivy League.
"I would definitely have to consider that. I would love to play division one football and get a great degree at the same time. My parents are pushing me towards the higher education but I would also like to play ball. So if I could do both at a high level that is all the better."
The combo of a great education and great athletics is what puts Stanford in the lead for Kelton right now.
Fairview finishes up their season this Friday against Grandview.
