Columbine takes on Cherry Creek this weekend and is definitely on their way to the playoffs. Chris has benefited from the exposure his team has received and has a few schools pretty interested in him.

"I am still talking to Nebraska and Colorado State. CSU is after me the hardest. I like Colorado too, but they have only sent me a couple of letters."

Chris's coach Andy Lowery believes he has what it takes to make it at the next level.

"Chris has only played three years of college football, and his best playing days are ahead of him," Coach Lowery said. "He has really blossomed into a fine lineman, especially in the past year. He was just a big body, but has now become a big player."

Wood says all schools like him as an offensive tackle.

On the field he describes himself as a player who believes in team work and a player who displays a lot of leadership.

Chris carries a 3.3 core GPA and scored a 26 on his SAT. He is undecided on a major.
